  • Introduction to practice manager
    • Meet Deirdre practice manager issued me with a security pass
  • Address any practice manager concerns
    • She mentioned reception area can get very busy and has asked if we could do after hours before 8 am
  • Inspect exterior perimeter of practice where applicable
  • Inspect signage for damage
  • Inspect any allocated car parks
  • Check for fire system that may require isolation
  • Check floor coverings for damage
  • Check all doors for correct operation
  • Check all doorstops are functional
  • Inspect walls for damage
    • All the usual wear and tear marks on corners and storage areas
  • Check over joinery units for damage
  • Check inside each cabinet for water leaks
  • Check splash backs for water damage
    • Lunchroom benchtop severely water damage will need replacing and one restroom will require new silicon around top of hand basin
  • Check all silicone to splash backs, basins, sinks
  • Check soap and hand towel dispenser condition
  • Check for damaged ceiling tiles
    • Yes some damage ceiling tiles will need replacing
  • Check all lights are functioning
