PATCH AND PAINT TASKS

  • Introduction to practice manager
    • Lee Luong not there any more introduced ourselves to new manager she was not aware we were coming
  • Address any practice manager concerns
    • On second day of painting she did have a concern of the paint smell in the practice one staff member had to go home early so I wedged the back door open to try and get some airflow coming in.
  • Inspect exterior perimeter of practice where applicable
  • Inspect signage for damage
  • Inspect any allocated car parks
  • Check for fire system that may require isolation
    • Remove masking tape around fire sensor left behind from other trades
  • Check floor coverings for damage
  • Check all doors for correct operation
  • Check all doorstops are functional
  • Inspect walls for damage
    • There are three coloured walls in this practice the main one being lexicon half the other too darker grey features walls all of them needed touching up
  • Check over joinery units for damage
    • Tighten up lunchroom sink faucet tap as was very loose and swinging around
  • Check inside each cabinet for water leaks
  • Check splash backs for water damage
  • Check all silicone to splash backs, basins, sinks
  • Check soap and hand towel dispenser condition
  • Check for damaged ceiling tiles
    • CT x-ray ceiling tiles have mould on them not sure why this is requires further investigation
  • Check all lights are functioning

As mentioned I believe the cleaners here are not up to standard compared to other practices. Floor is very dirty and dust sitting on top of pictures frames skirting boards everywhere
