PATCH AND PAINT TASKS

  • Introduction to practice manager
    • Day before we started called in and introduced ourselves security pass confirmed. Manager had no concerns.
  • Address any practice manager concerns
  • Inspect exterior perimeter of practice where applicable
    • One exterior wall of building under Veranda looking like it would benefit from a coat of paint and small tree seedlings growing out of spouting didn’t get up there but would imagine it could have a clean out
  • Inspect signage for damage
  • Inspect any allocated car parks
  • Check for fire system that may require isolation
  • Check floor coverings for damage
    • Flooring in 3 unisex toilets next to ultrasound rooms looks very dirty and chrome looking steel drainage fittings in floor have lost the shine they now look black.
  • Check all doors for correct operation
  • Check all doorstops are functional
  • Inspect walls for damage
    • Although this practice was better than some we have done it still needed painting in all high traffic areas.
  • Check over joinery units for damage
  • Check inside each cabinet for water leaks
  • Check splash backs for water damage
  • Check all silicone to splash backs, basins, sinks
  • Check soap and hand towel dispenser condition
  • Check for damaged ceiling tiles
    • Ultrasound rooms one and four have ceiling tiles removed and temporary air-conditioner exhaust fans due to copper thieves removing parts from exterior air-conditioning units.
  • Check all lights are functioning

Seedlings growing out of spouting on roof. Although I did not get up there as sign on the The Wall says permission is needed from landlord. I would think this was full of leaves and would need cleaning ie water blasting.

We were going to replace ceiling tiles around temporary AC ducting but we told not to worry on the last day by manager has they shouldn’t be there for much longer

Walls under veranda and back entrance ramp would benefit from water blasting as concrete ramp was very slippery when it was wet (raining)
