PATCH AND PAINT TASKS

  • Introduction to practice manager
  • Address any practice manager concerns
    • Was given code for the alarm and key for early a.m. starts
  • Inspect exterior perimeter of practice where applicable
    • Generally requires maintenance, repainting, pressure washing, gardens etc
  • Inspect signage for damage
  • Inspect any allocated car parks
    • Car park very small quite often full up with clients cars at certain times.
  • Check for fire system that may require isolation
  • Check floor coverings for damage
  • Check all doors for correct operation
  • Check all doorstops are functional
  • Inspect walls for damage
    • Repaint all walls in this practice due to colour change colour was originally antique white. It is now lexicon half
  • Check over joinery units for damage
  • Check inside each cabinet for water leaks
  • Check splash backs for water damage
  • Check all silicone to splash backs, basins, sinks
  • Check soap and hand towel dispenser condition
    • Unisex toilet opposite ultrasound room was missing soap dispenser so installed a new one
  • Check for damaged ceiling tiles
    • Ceiling tiles in poor condition water stains everywhere due to leaky roof
  • Check all lights are functioning
    • Some lights are old fluro and recommend replacing to LED

ITEMS THAT COULD IMPROVE PRACTICE APPEARANCE

Interior of this practice looking very good with full repaint looks brand-new. Because all walls were fully repainted here we noticed the cleaning was not up to the standard behind chairs and furniture etc. We did a lot of the cleaning in these areas ourselves including all the shopfront behind the waiting chairs and removing and cleaning the roller blinds. I think cleaners could do better at this practice. Actioned
Also included in this maintenance schedule was the installation of three sheets of wall protection installed behind rubbish bins and where wheelchair is usually parked and six pin boards cut to size and installed where needed Actioned
